PlayStation Plus subscribers can add four new titles to their libraries starting September 1, 2026, with MLB The Show 26 anchoring the monthly selection. The rest of the lineup includes Sniper Elite: Resistance, Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes, a mix that spans tactical shooting, baseball simulation, physics-based sandbox play and turn-based role-playing.

The additions arrive during an otherwise busy month for PlayStation owners, with Marvel’s Wolverine set to launch on September 15. Sony’s subscription service functions as its answer to Xbox Game Pass, offering a growing catalog of games across three tiers: Essential, Extra and Premium. Each tier carries its own perks, with pricing that starts at EUR 9 per month. Every subscriber, regardless of tier, gains access to a rotating set of monthly titles at no extra cost.

What’s Included in the September 2026 Games

MLB The Show 26 aims to deliver a detailed baseball simulation with reworked hitting and pitching systems designed to give players greater control during high-pressure moments. The Road to the Show mode lets you build a career that begins in high school and college before advancing to the major leagues and, potentially, the Hall of Fame. Franchise mode has also been updated with a revised trade system and improved roster logic for managing every part of a team.

Sniper Elite: Resistance centers on precision shooting, stealth and tactical third-person combat. Players take on the role of Harry Hawker infiltrating Nazi-occupied France, with open-ended missions that allow scouting, alternate routes and trap-setting. Realistic ballistics factor in wind, gravity and heart rate, while weapons can be customized with new scopes, barrels and ammunition. The campaign supports cooperative play, and additional modes include Propaganda missions, Axis Invasion and competitive multiplayer.

Wobbly Life leans into unstructured, physics-based sandbox gameplay. Players can roam an open world, take on odd jobs, earn money and spend it on houses, vehicles, clothes and pets, or simply cause chaos. The game supports up to four players through online or local co-op, and nearly everything in the environment is interactive. Story missions, puzzles, hidden secrets and mini-games add further content to explore.

Chained Echoes Rounds Out the Selection

Chained Echoes combines classic JRPG design with original mechanics, following a group of heroes drawn into a war between three kingdoms. Combat is turn-based and built around an Overdrive system that requires careful management of attacks and abilities to keep your party in an advantageous state without overheating. Between battles, players can explore the world of Valandis on foot, by airship and eventually in mech suits used for both traversal and combat. The game features no random encounters and includes a deep equipment system.

All four titles become available to PlayStation Plus subscribers on September 1, 2026.
