The Plaud One marks the company’s push to turn its popular AI recording tools into a full-time assistant, this time in the form of a pair of earbuds. Priced starting at EUR 213, the Plaud One Explorer Edition expands on the concept behind the Plaud Note Pro voice recorder, which converts captured audio into detailed AI-generated summaries through the Plaud app.

Unlike the retro-styled Note Pro, the Plaud One looks and functions like a standard set of wireless earbuds. The charging case carries the same new-age retro design cues and doubles as a standalone recorder when the earbuds are not in use.

Recording and audio features

The Plaud One is not an always-listening device, but it can record everything the Note captures, along with online meetings. According to Plaud, the earbuds can capture the audio they play, which could simplify recording calls without relying on a separate third-party device.

On the audio side, the earbuds include active noise cancellation and transparency mode. They feature 12mm dynamic drivers and support LDAC audio. Battery life is rated at 36 hours with the charging case. On a single charge, the earbuds run for up to 6 hours of recording or playback without ANC. The 830mAh case can record continuously for up to 25 hours and offers 21 days of standby power.

Plaud Agent and app integrations

The centerpiece of the device is Plaud Agent, which runs on Plaud Intelligence. It functions as an AI agent that handles tasks using the context from recorded meetings and conversations. Plaud says the Plaud One will integrate with apps including Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion, and Slack to complete tasks. Users can manage the agent’s skills to help ensure jobs are carried out correctly.

Pricing and availability

The Plaud One appears to rely on the same usage credits system as the Note recorder. It remains unclear whether Plaud Agent usage counts toward those credits, or whether generating summaries from recorded material is what draws down the limits, as with earlier recorders.

The Plaud One Explorer Edition is available for pre-order starting today, with shipments set to begin in Q4 2026.
