Video Boost is a Pro-only feature that first arrived on the Pixel 8 Pro in 2023. It works by uploading captured footage to Google’s servers, where advanced processing models significantly improve video quality. The cloud-based approach delivered a notable jump in output when it launched, and Google has continued refining video performance with each new Pixel generation.
What the Static Bug Sounds Like
Users first flagged the problem last week, and reports have continued to accumulate. A clip shared on Reddit demonstrates the issue clearly, with static bursts occurring every few seconds throughout the recording. The distortion is easy to hear and resembles a Bluetooth device operating at the very edge of its range. Temporary Workarounds for Pixel 11 Owners
