Google has signed a multi-year partnership with MrBeast, the most popular YouTuber, to promote Gemini and Google Health across a series of high-profile videos and campaigns. The deal extends beyond YouTube and kicks off with a survival-themed challenge set in what Google calls some of the planet’s most unforgiving landscapes.
Jimmy Donaldson, known online as MrBeast, became the first creator to reach 500 million YouTube subscribers. Under the new agreement, he will use Gemini to help execute ambitious stunts while showing viewers how AI can turn oversized ideas into reality. Google Health will also feature, highlighting how its tools can support fitness and wellness goals.
Survival Challenge Debuts September 5
The first video goes live on September 5 on the MrBeast channel. It follows Jimmy and his crew as they race to navigate three extreme environments: the jungle, the desert, and the Arctic. Throughout the challenge, teams rely on Gemini to identify dangers, survive sudden weather changes, and stay ahead of competitors.
Google frames the video as a demonstration of how its AI assistant can guide users through complex, real-world situations. The company says the effort reflects MrBeast’s reputation for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible on the platform.
Fitbit Air and a New Gemini Campaign
Beyond the survival video, Jimmy will appear in a newly launched Gemini advertising campaign. The spot shows how he uses the app as a partner to manage the logistics behind his signature large-scale stunts.
Google also confirmed that Fitbit Air will be integrated into an upcoming challenge, though the company did not detail how the wearable will be featured. Together, the campaigns aim to connect Gemini and Google Health with one of the largest audiences on YouTube.
A Familiar Marketing Playbook
This is not the first time a major brand has teamed up with MrBeast to market products. Samsung partnered with the channel in 2023, using Galaxy phones for vlogging content. The new arrangement with Google continues that trend, pairing a leading tech company with the platform’s most-watched creator.
The partnership arrives as Google continues to expand its Gemini and Fitbit ecosystems. The first MrBeast video under the deal is scheduled to publish on September 5.
