Inside the app, content is divided across three core tabs. The Now tab surfaces items you need to see soon. The Timeline tab lets you scroll ahead and view saved items based on the reminder date you assigned. The Library tab holds everything you have ever saved, viewable either by category or grouped together. A built-in search function rounds out the experience, making it simple to locate anything in your collection.
Privacy and On-Device Storage
One feature that sets Laytr apart is its approach to data. There is no sync, not even through iCloud, and no account is required. Everything stays on your device in its own contained space, so your data never lives on an outside server. This local-only design appeals to users who want full control over where their saved content is stored.
Pricing and Availability
Laytr is available for free on the App Store for iPhone models running iOS 17 and later. The free version is usable on its own, but unlimited access requires a subscription priced at EUR 2 per month or EUR 13 per year. A lifetime option, normally EUR 34, is discounted to EUR 21 for early adopters.
Core features such as searching and exporting are never restricted behind the paywall. That means even if you cancel a subscription later, the app remains functional and your saved content stays accessible.
