Apple TV has expanded its streaming library with 15 classic movies, all available at no extra cost for subscribers. The addition marks the second such release in as many months, signaling a shift for a service that has historically leaned almost entirely on original programming rather than licensed titles.
Last month, Apple surprised viewers by introducing well-known films such as The Bourne Identity, E.T., and The Rookie. This latest batch continues that approach, bringing a fresh mix of dramas, comedies, and blockbusters to the platform.

The following 15 titles are now streaming for U.S. subscribers:
The Social Network, War of the Worlds, School of Rock, Her, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Superbad, Mamma Mia! The Movie, Definitely, Maybe, Easy A, Master and Commander, A League of Their Own, Troy, The Informant!, Zero Dark Thirty, and The Wolf of Wall Street.
As with the previous release, availability may vary depending on your region. The 15 films listed above are confirmed for viewers in the United States.
Older Titles Are Being Removed
There is a catch. Alongside the new arrivals, Apple has pulled many of the films that were available last month. A handful of holdovers remain, but the majority are no longer part of the catalog. It is not yet clear whether this new set of films will face the same limited availability, so subscribers who want to watch a specific title may want to do so soon.
Apple TV Pricing and What’s Coming Next
September will also bring additional Apple original shows and movies to the service. Apple TV is priced at EUR 13 per month, and a discounted option is available through the Apple One bundle, which combines multiple Apple services into a single subscription.
The move to add more licensed classic films gives subscribers a broader selection beyond Apple’s exclusive content, though the rotating nature of the lineup means these titles may not remain available indefinitely.
