The Motorola Razr 2026, known as the Razr 70 in Europe, is getting a luxury upgrade with embedded Swarovski crystals and a new Pantone meteorite (black) color option. Motorola revealed the refreshed clamshell foldable during IFA in Berlin, adding sparkle to a device that already leans into playful design.
The special edition features a quilted back studded with 35 hand-positioned crystals, plus an additional 32-facet crystal set into the hinge. The standard Razr model retails for EUR 689, while the limited Swarovski edition is listed at 1,000 euros (about EUR 998). The base version earned praise for its cover screen and fast charging capabilities.
Edge 70 Plus and Edge 70 Plus Neo Bring Bigger Batteries
Motorola also introduced two new handsets at IFA: the Edge 70 Plus and the Edge 70 Plus Neo. Both belong to the same family as the ultra-thin Edge 70, which launched last November at 5.99mm with a 4,800-mAh battery.
The newer models measure 8.49mm each, slightly thicker than the original, but they carry substantially larger batteries. The Edge 70 Plus packs a 6,500-mAh cell, while the Edge 70 Plus Neo goes even further with a 7,000-mAh battery, positioning both for full-day-plus use.
Camera hardware sets the two apart. Each phone includes a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 32-megapixel front camera. The Edge 70 Plus uses a 200-megapixel main sensor, whereas the Neo relies on a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 710 sensor. Despite the lower resolution, the Sony sensor is designed to deliver greater dynamic range and reduced image noise, particularly in low-light conditions.
Both devices share a 6.78-inch Extreme AMOLED display and a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, targeting solid mid-range performance. They will be offered in several Pantone shades, including mountain view (green), gray lilac (mauve), milky blue (blue), and sage (a second green option).
Moto Watch Ultra Adds LTE Connectivity
Rounding out the lineup is the Moto Watch Ultra, an LTE version of the Moto Watch reviewed earlier this year. The new wearable features a 1.5-inch OLED display, up from the previous 1.43-inch screen, and comes in a slightly slimmer 46mm case compared with the earlier 47mm design.
Motorola continues its partnership with Polar, which supplies science-based sleep and activity tracking to the Watch Ultra. The device also adds a running coach feature, an area where the earlier model struggled by overcounting steps.
In Europe, the Moto Watch Ultra is listed at 429 euros (about EUR 428), a notable jump over the standard Moto Watch, which retails for EUR 129.
