Dyson HushJet air purifiers are getting a complete redesign, and the new lineup blends cooling, purification, and even heating into a single climate-control device. Announced at the IFA 2026 trade show in Berlin, the refreshed HushJet range includes three models, each built around a distinctive curved shape that Dyson calls the HushJet Nozzle.
The new units resemble large, angled pipes with a rotating mouth that directs airflow across a room. The design combines the directed-fan capabilities of the HushJet MiniCool Fan with the aerospace turbine engineering of the HushJet Compact, aiming for more consistent performance along with reduced noise and turbulence.
The Flagship: HushJet Big+Quiet Cool Pure+Formaldehyde
The largest model is the EUR 949 Dyson HushJet Big+Quiet Cool Pure+Formaldehyde, positioned as the company’s biggest air purifier with its most powerful compressor. It is designed for multiroom purification and air mixing, and it includes wheels so it can be moved between rooms, though it is not self-propelled.
Controls let the nozzle-like head tilt up and down and rotate, allowing users to angle airflow for direct cooling or broader room circulation. Despite its size, the unit reportedly stays quiet except at its highest settings while still moving a large volume of air. It can capture 99.99% of pollutants down to 0.01 microns and destroy formaldehyde, a chemical byproduct found in many homes.
Two Mid-Range HushJet Models
The EUR 517 HushJet Pure Cool+Formaldehyde targets mainstream buyers with a more approachable price while still delivering strong purification and cooling. Dyson says it offers three times the purification of predecessor units and can clean large spaces while doubling as a personal fan.
The EUR 517 HushJet Hot Cool Pure+ is similar but adds heating, making it a three-in-one device that works as a space heater in winter and a fan in summer, alongside its air purification.
Availability and Pricing
All three Dyson HushJet models cover the same core purposes of cooling, purifying, and, in one case, heating, with prices ranging from EUR 517 to EUR 949. Each is expected to launch in fall 2026.
