The Lenovo IdeaPad Vibe is a new laptop line built around personalization and value, launching later this year at a starting price of EUR 602. Available in 14- and 15-inch screen sizes, the series offers seven color choices and a design that leans into style without pushing the price into premium territory. Buyers can pick between an all-metal chassis or a build that pairs a metal lid and keyboard deck with a plastic bottom.
One of the more unusual features is the option for swappable keycaps, a rarity in the laptop market. Owners can match the keycaps to their laptop’s color or choose a contrasting look for a bolder appearance.
Specs, Displays, and Ports
The IdeaPad Vibe starts at 1.3 kg (2.87 pounds) and supports up to 24GB or 32GB of RAM, with the higher capacities tied to the AMD-based models. Those AMD versions also offer an optional larger 65 WHr battery, while a 50 WHr battery ships as standard across the lineup. Display choices include 120 Hz IPS or OLED panels, though the OLED option is limited to the two most understated shades, a low-key gray and a moody blue.
Internally, the laptops include two M.2 SSD slots and come with either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X or AMD’s Ryzen AI 400 processor. Connectivity is a strong point, with two USB Type-A and two Type-C ports (all capped at 5 GB/s), plus HDMI, a headphone jack, and a microSD card slot. That port selection outpaces both the MacBook Neo and Dell’s XPS 13.
AI Features and Availability
Because both the AMD and Qualcomm chips include prominent NPUs, Lenovo is promoting its cross-platform Qira AI, which also appears on Motorola phones. According to the company, Qira offers Workato-powered connections to email, calendar, and collaboration services, helping users find information and act on natural-language requests with less app switching. Qira will be available only on select configurations.
Memory listings across the lineup are described simply as “up to 24GB.” Given current memory prices, the EUR 602 entry configurations are expected to ship with 8GB of RAM, which limits their capacity for local AI tasks.
The AMD-based IdeaPad Vibe models will arrive first, starting in October, followed by Snapdragon versions in November. Lenovo has also confirmed Intel options, though a release date for those has not been announced.
For buyers who prefer the same color palette without the need for portability, Lenovo is offering the IdeaCentre AIO i, an all-in-one with Intel Core Series 3 CPUs and a 27-inch screen in matching colors. It ships with a coordinated keyboard and mouse and starts at EUR 808 in November.
