Samsung’s One UI 9 beta, built on Android 17, is reaching several additional Galaxy smartphones this month, a move that suggests the stable release is drawing closer.
The software already ships out of the box on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series and the Galaxy Z Flip 8, but it has not yet made its way to the wider Galaxy lineup. Galaxy S26 owners have had access to the update through the beta channel for the past few months, and now the program is broadening to more devices.
Which Galaxy phones join the One UI 9 beta
Samsung has confirmed that the One UI 9 beta is expanding to its 2025 flagship families. Eligible models include the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and Galaxy S25 FE, along with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
The rollout follows the earlier expansion tied to the Galaxy S26 series in May, with the newly eligible devices set to begin receiving access in September.
How to sign up and where it’s available
The update will arrive as an opt-in beta through the Samsung Members app. Participation is limited to select markets, including India, Korea, the United States, and the United Kingdom, during September.
Samsung has not shared a precise date for the beta’s arrival on each device. Based on the company’s previous release patterns, however, the update is likely to appear sooner rather than later within the stated window.
Interested users can enroll in the program by opening the Samsung Members app on an eligible device and signing up when the beta becomes available in their region.
