The Dell 14S features an aluminum build and delivers up to 21 hours of battery life. Buyers can choose between an Intel Core Ultra 3 or Core Ultra 5 processor. The 16:10 display comes in 60Hz and 120Hz options, giving users flexibility depending on their needs.
Connectivity includes two USB-C ports, an HDMI port, and a headphone jack. The laptop weighs around 2.5 pounds and measures just 13.5mm thick, making it a genuinely portable choice for people on the move.
Pricing and Availability
In a Q&A on its blog, Dell describes the 14S as a compelling alternative to the MacBook Neo. Official pricing has not yet been announced, but the company hints that the laptop will cost less than the XPS 13, which currently starts at EUR 604. That positioning suggests the Dell 14S could land below the MacBook Neo.
Dell says the laptop will be available in the United States this fall, with pricing confirmed closer to launch in each market. The company frames the 14S as complementary to the XPS 13 and accessible for students and young adults worldwide, adding that regional pricing will reflect that goal.
A Familiar Name
Notably, Dell already launched a laptop called the 14S earlier this year. The company explains that the older model targets creators, while the new version prioritizes everyday performance, long battery life, portability, colorful design, and accessible pricing.
