Grok Bot, the iMessage-style AI system from SpaceXAI, has expanded to the iPad and slashed its subscription cost, opening the door to a much wider audience of users.
The product launched last month as an iPhone and Mac app, presenting AI agents as teammates in a chat-style interface. At the time, access came with a steep price. In the weeks since, SpaceXAI has broadened platform availability and made the service far more affordable.
Grok Bot lands on iPad and Android
Following the pattern of many AI services, Grok Bot debuted first on the Mac alongside an iPhone app. This week, SpaceXAI added two more platforms: iPad and Android. The tablet release gives users a larger canvas for interacting with the AI agent system that treats individual agents like collaborators.
The expansion coincides with new enterprise support. Grok and Cursor enterprise customers can use Grok Bot at no cost for the next couple of weeks, giving business teams an incentive to test the platform.
Pricing drops from EUR 258 to EUR 17 per month
Beyond wider device support, the biggest change is cost. The AI agent system originally required a EUR 258/month subscription, a price that limited it to a narrow group of professional users willing to pay a premium.
Now, Grok Bot works with Cursor Pro, a EUR 17/month plan. That brings it in line with other entry-level AI subscription services and removes a major barrier for individuals and small teams who want to try the technology without a large upfront commitment. A free trial period is also available before users need to commit to a paid tier.
How Cursor factors into the strategy
The pricing shift ties back to a recent acquisition. SpaceXAI acquired Cursor, a move that has helped the company become more competitive in the AI market after previously falling behind rivals. Folding Grok Bot into the existing Cursor Pro plan gives SpaceXAI a ready-made subscription structure and a direct path to a broader customer base.
With iPad and Android support now in place, alongside the temporary free access for enterprise customers and the lower Cursor Pro entry point, Grok Bot is positioned to reach far more users than it could at launch. The AI agent system is currently available across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Android.
