If you’re hunting for NYT Strands hints and answers for the Sept. 2 puzzle (#913), you’re in the right place. Today’s edition delivers a challenging theme and at least one very long word that can be difficult to unscramble. Read on for clues, theme answers and the elusive spangram.
Today’s Strands Theme and Clue
The theme for today’s Strands puzzle is: “All will be revealed.” If that leaves you stumped, consider this additional hint: “Now I see it.” Both point you toward the concept that ties all the hidden answers together.
In case you’re new to the game, your objective is to locate hidden words that match the puzzle’s theme. When you’re stuck, the best approach is to find any valid words you can. Every time you identify three words of four letters or more, the game reveals one of the theme words.
Clue Words to Unlock In-Game Hints
Any words of four or more letters will trigger the built-in hint system. These are examples that work well: TIME, MARE, TARE, MAIL, RAIL, TOME, TOMES, FACE, FACES, RACE, RACES and MART. Use them to earn hints if you find yourself running out of ideas.
Today’s Strands Answers and Spangram
The goal is to find every theme answer, including the spangram, a special word that stretches from one side of the board to the other. Once you’ve located them all, every letter on the board will be used. Note that the total number of answers can vary from puzzle to puzzle.
The non-spangram answers for Sept. 2 are: ARISE, EMERGE, SURFACE, MANIFEST and MATERIALIZE.
Today’s Strands spangram is COMETOLIGHT. To trace it, begin with the C that sits four letters to the right on the bottom row, then wind your way up.
