Alongside foldable phones, novel alarm clocks and even flying car concepts, connected home devices dominated the show floor, offering a glimpse into how living spaces could look in the near future.

Entertainment and Ambiance
The natural place to begin is the television, and the LG OLED EVO AI 83W6 made an immediate impression. The large-format OLED panel delivered vivid, glorious color and an exceptionally thin profile, making it well suited for wall mounting without looking bulky or out of place.
For mood lighting, Govee smart lights demonstrated how ambient color can transform a room. A couch fitted with multicolored strips along its underside produced an arcade-like glow, showing how underlighting can add a playful atmosphere to a living space.
Beverage fans had reason to take notice of the iGulu F1 Smart Home Brewer, a countertop brewing system that handles the beer-making process automatically. Users pour in the ingredients for their chosen style, such as a Classic English Bitter, and the machine does the rest. Sample pours at the show were reported as delicious.
Kitchen and Bedroom Automation
Keeping food and drinks fresh fell to the Xiaomi Mijia Refrigerator Pro Cryo. The unit uses multiple forms of compression and airflow to keep contents cooler and fresher for longer. One notable feature allows the fridge to hold water below freezing without turning it solid; shaking a bottle triggers ice crystals to form on the spot. Extending the freshness of groceries also helps reduce household food waste.
Xiaomi showed a wide range of products at IFA, but the most striking aspect was how they functioned together as a single ecosystem. In the company’s smart bedroom demo, sitting down on the bed with a book prompted AI-enabled cameras to recognize the activity. The system responded by switching on the bedside lamp, adjusting the bed into a comfortable reading position, turning on the air conditioning and drawing the curtains closed.
The broader concept extends this level of automation throughout the entire home. Loading the dishwasher can cue a robot vacuum to clean the floor after cooking, and opening the door of a Xiaomi car in the driveway can trigger the connected system to recognize the arrival. The emphasis across the show was on interconnected devices working in coordination rather than as standalone gadgets.
