Lenovo RTX Spark laptops are coming into sharper focus, as the company has released the complete specification list for the Yoga Pro 9n and introduced a second Spark-powered machine ahead of IFA: the Yoga 9n 2-in-1, a 16-inch convertible. The Yoga Pro 9n was first shown at Computex, while the convertible marks Lenovo’s expansion of the lineup for creators and power users.
Both systems are built around Nvidia’s RTX Spark platform, pairing a Grace CPU with up to 20 cores and Blackwell RTX graphics with as many as 6,144 cores. That range suggests multiple RTX Spark chip options will be available across both models. The differences between the two machines are significant, however, particularly around memory, storage, and thermal headroom.
How the Yoga Pro 9n and Yoga 9n 2-in-1 Compare
The clamshell Yoga Pro 9n measures 15.3 inches and can be configured with up to 128GB of LPDDR5x-9400 unified memory. It offers two SSD slots for up to 4TB total, with slot one supporting PCIe Gen 4 drives and slot two supporting PCIe Gen 5. Its display is a 2560 × 1600 PureSight Pro OLED panel with a 48–165Hz variable refresh rate, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and 1,100 nits of peak HDR brightness. The laptop carries a 92.5 WHr battery, weighs 3.64 pounds, and runs at up to 80W TDP, one of the first official TDP figures disclosed for an RTX Spark system.
The Yoga 9n 2-in-1 steps up to a 16-inch, 2880 × 1800 PureSight Pro OLED screen with a 30–120Hz variable refresh rate and the same 1,100-nit peak HDR brightness. It tops out at 64GB of LPDDR5x-9400 memory and uses lower-tier QLC storage, offering up to 2TB on a PCIe Gen 4 QLC M.2 2242 drive. It packs a larger 99.9 WHr battery but weighs more at 4.28 pounds. Lenovo has not confirmed a TDP figure for the convertible.
Both laptops share a 9.2-megapixel MIPI camera with IR that connects directly to the processor, along with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Each runs Windows 11 and features an all-black metal design mixing reflective and matte finishes. The convertible reintroduces a soundbar built into the hinge, allowing audio to project clearly in any orientation.
AI, Creativity, and Workstation-Class Performance
